The 4 days Kidepo valley safari ushers you to Kidepo valley national park, one the most isolated parks with true African wilderness in north eastern Uganda. Detailed Itinerary for the 4 Days Kidepo Valley Uganda Wildlife Safari
Day 1: To Kidepo valley National park
Today’s highlights;
- Road trip to Kidepo (exciting sceneries)
- First overnight stay in the true African wilderness
This is a long journey so you need to be up early enough, take breakfast and start the long drive. Travel north east to the Kidepo valley national park, lunch will be en-route and stops will be provided for you to stretch your legs. Reach the park in the late evening, check in your lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Safari in Kidepo National park
Today highlights;
- 1st sunrise game drive in the park ( expect lots of wildlife)
- Visit the Karamong people ( fascinating cultural experience)
Grab a cup of coffee in the morning, set out for your first game drive in the park to see the predators rushing back to there head outs such as lions, spotted hyenas, duku duku and many others.
In the afternoon, go for a cultural tour to the Karamong community who dwell in around this place for the best cultural experiences in this region, get to hear stories they tell about their livestock because they believe God gave them every cattle they come across, be treated with the karamong traditional dances (their high jumps are worthy looking at), the list is endless . Come back for yet another stay in the African setting.

Day 3: In Kidepo valley National park
Today’s highlights;
- Wondrous nature walk ( discover the Kidepo plains)
- 2nd sunset game drive (see rare wildlife endemic to this region)
- 3rd night in the true African wilderness
After your delicious breakfast in the morning, go for the nature walk through the park to explore its vast landscape, Kidepo river banks, see wildlife as they graze in the vast plains of Kidepo. This nature walk opens you to the beauty of Kidepo valley national park and the reason why its called the True African wilderness. Come back for lunch and relaxation.
Expect some of the best photographic spots on this walk
In the evening, go for your second and last game drivein the park and keep out on a look because every drive gives a whole different new experience. Drive through the park to Karankorog hot springs. See animals such as enormous herds of buffaloes, bush elephants, warthogs, jackals, bush duikers, bushbuck, bush pig, Kavirondo bush baby, and much more. Head back to lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Travel back to Kampala
Today’s highlights;
- Long road trip (beautiful sceneries)
Today marks the end of the safari. Drive back to Kampala and expect to reach tonight or choose to continue with your adventure in any of the parks.
