This mid-length safari takes you to land of impalas and zebras Lake Mburo, the place of wanders Queen Elizabeth and to the home of half of the world’s gorilla population which is Bwindi impenetrable National park. The circuit takes you to the western park of Uganda where you will see wildlife in its natural habitats, the big five experience, trek the famous gentle giants in Bwindi plus of one the amazing boat cruise on Uganda’s channel which connects two lakes. Detailed Itinerary;

Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park and Evening Game drive

Pick up by the driver to Lake Mburo, travel via Kampala Masaka highway to the park where you will reach in time for lunch.  Lunch then relax as you wait for evening game drive through the land of zebras, the only place with the impala, and many other animals.  Sit back after your drive, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Depart for Queen Elizabeth, and Boat Cruise

Early breakfast and head to Queen Elizabeth National park travel through the beautiful western region the land of milk, reach to the park in time for your lunch. Go for your afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel which was the first name of the park before turning it to Queen Elizabeth national park. See wildlife teemed by the channel, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants taking a bath from the scotching sun etc.

After you come for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and depart for Bwindi

Have your cup of coffee early in the morning, embark on your morning drive to see wildlife as they get out of their habitats, nocturnals as they get back to their hideouts etc. after the drive you came back for your breakfast, relax, and pack your staff to head for Bwindi Impenetrable National park. Have lunch at your lodge, drive though the southern sector of the park where you will spot wildlife along the way through the Ishasha plains and if lucky you will see the tree climbing lions.

Reach Bwindi impenetrable national park in the evening where you will have your Gorilla tracking experience the next day. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: The Gorilla tracking experience and Cultural performance

Head to the park headquarters for orientations and meet your guides early in the morning after breakfast with your packed lunch. Head into the Impenetrable forest to track the gentle giants will the aid of senior guides. You will be allowed one hour with a gorilla family after which you will return to your lodge. Tracking may take 1-4hrs depending on where the gorillas are; the hiring in the steep slopes covered with thick vegetation up and down makes this an experience unforgettable.

Head back to your lodge and relax; in the evening a cultural performance will be prepared for you to enjoy the traditional songs and energetic dances of the batwa local people.  This shows you how a sunset evening in Africa is spent in the loveliest way. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Travel back to Kampala and a stop at the Equator.

Have your breakfast in the morning, embark on your travel back to Kampala, you will have your stop in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to Kayabwe where you stop at the Equator for photos, get souvenirs and then continue to Kampala.
