Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls national park
Drive to Murchison Falls national park passing through Luwero district to Nakasongola for amazing rhino tracking and lunch. Continue to the park arriving late evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and launch trip
Have a drive after breakfast to see variety of animals such as elephants, giraffes. After lunch go a relaxing boat ride to the bottom of Murchison falls, and do a hike on reaching. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Budongo forest Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Kibale
Track chimpanzee in the morning after breakfast. Check out the lodge and travel to Kibale national park having lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk
Breakfast in the morning, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Trail through the forest for an amazing tracking experience with a senior guide.
Have lunch in the afternoon and go a swamp walk to spot other primates and birds such as colobus monkeys. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Drive to the park reaching in the afternoon for lunch. In the evening do a game drive while looking for animals like buffaloes, elephants, lions etc.
Day 6: Game drive and boat cruise
Breakfast and do a morning game drive through the park.in the afternoon go for an amazing boat ride on the famous Kazinga channel spotting hippos, crocodiles, various birds etc.
Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and game drive
In the morning embark on chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambula gorge looking for chimos in the forest. Lunch and go for a game drive in the Ishasha sector while looking for tree climbing lions.
Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala
This marks the end of the safari with a journey back to Kampala having a stop at the equator. Lunch en-route and drop off to your place of choice.
