3 DAYS GORILLA TREKKING (BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK)

This 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari is a magical lifetime experience to the jungle forests of Bwindi impenetrable national park. The gorilla trekking tour is tailor made for you to meet with half of the world’s remaining gentle giants (mountain gorillas) deep down in their natural habitat, Bwindi forest.

The safari usually starts from Kampala /Entebbe or your choice of residence to south western Uganda through the districts of Wakiso, Masaka, Mbarara, with lots of the country’s beautiful scenery to Bwindi impenetrable. The journey is long but it rewards a lot if you take it.

On your gorilla trekking day in this gorilla haven Bwindi, this is a life changer, expect memories of a lifetime. You allocated to groups of 8 trekkers per group and assigned a ranger guide per group. An hour (60 mins) is what is allowed to you to meet and interact with a habituated gorilla family (Bwindi has more than 10 gorilla families). Take pictures, witness as the juveniles play with each other, their human expressions and a selfie with a gorilla makes the experience even more astonishing.

After this, get rewarded with a gorilla trekking certificate with your name on it by the Uganda Wildlife Authority with a song from the locals for the support towards conversation of these mountain gorillas.

Note: A gorilla trekking permit must be obtained by every visitor aleast 4 months before the trek from the Uganda wildlife Authority and this allows you to track the gorillas in either one of the regions of Bwindi namely Buhoma, Nkuringo, Rushaga, or Ruhiga.  Today gorillas tracking is on a high depend so you need to book your permit as soon as you confirm your travel dates.
