Day 1: To Bwindi impenetrable national park
- Exciting road trip to Bwindi
Pick up by our driver early morning from your place of residence after your early breakfast, depart from Kampala and drive south wards to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Have lunch en-route in Mbarara; continue driving through the beautiful and scenic landscape of the country side.
This is a long drive so you need to be ready early enough
Check in at the lodge in the late afternoon and relax at your lodging in the magnificent African setting as you prepare for the following day gorilla tracking.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking experience

The gorilla tracking day. Early in the morning have breakfast, pick your packed lunch and head to the park headquarters for orientation about the gorilla tracking by experienced guide . He will tell you about the rules and regulations for gorilla tracking and then start the trek through the dense impenetrable forest. Hire through the steep hills of Bwindi, mist impenetrable vegetation with your guide who has the best knowledge on locating gorillas in the jungle.
This may take 1-8hrs depending on where the gorillas are.
These up and down movements give one of the astonishing experience you can get while down the tracking gorillas. On finding a gorilla group you will be arranged one hour interaction with the gorillas, take photographs and learn more about their ways. Tracking these gentle giant is worth all the time you put into it.
In the late afternoon you can go for an optional village work to see the traditional villages of Africa, interact with the local people and much more. End your day with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: End of gorilla tracking safari
- Equator stop (stand both in the north and south hemispheres and let you imaginations run wild)
- Trip back to Kampala
Have breakfast in the morning, check out and drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Mbarara.
Have a stop at the Equator, take photographs, have the chance to stand in the two hemispheres, carry out experiences about the equator line and then after continue to Kampala.
